Righto my wife who is a Travel Agent is looking at putting together a package deal to the Aussie Tuff Truck Challenge and is wanting to get an idea of interest, The package would prob include flights transfers, accomadation and rental cars, entry to the event.
My idea is if we get enough people to go we could all take a piece of Jafas Jalopy in our suitcase and then he could represent ORE

This in the concept stage at the mo so many things will influence the price, if people have an idea of what they might like to see in a package that will help put together something attractive. The more people that go the cheaper it will be. I wanna go and hire a Cruiser troopy camper for the the event. Putting together trips like this is her speciality so with the right ideas an awesome trip could be had although if sadam is keen he needs to know there is no tui over there

I have toyed with this idea in the past
4wd show is usually the week before
and theres the rock crawling place in melbourne where ya get to drive a crawler
not sure of locations, but you could make a week or more of it
fly over thurs nite, fri/sat/ and poss sun at 4wd show, then drive to crawlers maybe via an off road route
then drive to top truck event and camp and drink and be merry
then fly/sleep back home

Yer that shit will scratch my paint!
I'd love to enter, its exactly the sort of competition its suited to, fawkin expensive to get it over there tho, it'd be a 15-30k exercise I reakon. Maybe another year
Haynzy's idea has merit tho, pity the poor bugga who has to take the wheels tho
Anyway, I'm in for this trip.

Should anyone wish to add in extra days this is possible, if needed I can assist with additional accommodation prices etc.
Prices will be subject to availability until reservations are made and there are only limited number of packages for Tuff Truck 2010.
Please note:
With your entry for the weekend you get 2 nights camping in our bush camp grounds. Each camp site is flat grassy tree lined with easy access for all vehicle types. All camp sites have no power so if you need power please supply your own. We provide the best portable toilet facilities and have disabled toilets also. Limites shower passes available. Please bring your own drinking and washing water as it is a rural property in drought. Most basic needs are available at local towns or a short drive into Singleton.
We also provide two camping areas, one for the Families who need an earlier night and morning and a general camping area for those who might like to stay up later and sleep later. Follow the marshals and signs on the property when you arrive to choose your camp site.
The local town and RFS provide a catering facility. If you wish to have your meals catered for the weekend, more information will be provided with ticketing soon. If you want to just pick up a casual meal, they do great Bacon and Egg rolls for breakfast and Steak and Sausage sandwiches for lunch available to purchase each day. Dinner is a selection of chicken schnitzels or steaks with vegies and salad – you will not go hungry.
In order to reduce the danger to others, all glass containers and bottles are banned from the site. The Tuff Truck site is a "Glass Free Zone". There is a strict NO DOG policy. The land owners are extremely strict on pets and will not allow any pets on the property. Their own animals are extremely territorial and we want to ensure that there are no incidents between the farm animals and patrons pets. We have to respect the land owners wishes.
Absolutely no fire arms or fire works are allowed. No vehicles are to be moved during the weekend besides entering or leaving.

talked with jafa and we sort of thought of rippin in to a campin shop when we get to sydney and buyin a tent stretcher and chair. the tents could be divied up between the boys and then set them on fire on the last day
plus buy the time weve nailed a keg each per day who cares where we sleep
