hey all
i have been lookin round some u.s web sites and they seem to have a lot of lifted 2wd trucks. they call them prerunners for some reason?? anyway i was wondering if anyone has done anything like that over here. or would it be a waste of time with nz terrain. thought it could be fun on sand dunes. i have a lowered navara, was thinking bout doin something different to it.

I think the truck racing boys have a 2WD class, as do the rally boys... and how many 4WD VW-based rails and VW baja buggies do you see? SFA.
Go for it... you wouldn't be using in the traditional 4WD scene, because you would more than likely just get stuck left right and centre... but if you wanted to get into some stadium racing or something like that then it would be ideal.
Someone will hopefully post the truck racing club details - I don't know them but I know its pretty strong in Chch and so probably is around the country.
