swb sway bars and shocks

im looking for some advice on disconnecting the sway bars on my 2.8 swb,have been given mixed advice from some who say remove both and other who say only remove the rear as removing the front can cause issue under braking on the open road.
also any advice on some good shocks that would suit .
already has lift kit and is running 33x12.5x15

I say asshole the front.

I don't have one there and only the only saf's i've seen with them have been the soft (spirit?) 2.8 models (like yours ) usually accompanied by road tires and no flares.

Mine handles fine.

Like a truck (a really really old truck) but fine.

I say leave it on if you are doing many road km. They behave a bit funny without them on usually gives a mid corner lurch. but you can throw the rear one away, it just rolls a bit more but it pretty predictable still.

I will presume it is a Pajero since in mitsi section.....

I dont have any sway bars on mine and I don't notice any wayward performance on road and I travel to Auckland from Hamilton twice a week. Also I've never noticed any difference under extreme braking.

Wasp, best if you decide yourself. If you like a vehicle to behave ok on the road then they are there for a reason. If they were not needed they wouldn't be there.

Best you take both off, drive it for a week then put the front one back on and see what you think.

For what it's worth, none of my 3 have had sway bars and they handle fine (not sure what one with drives like to be honest)

or you could just get swaybar disconects on the front. disconect it off rd, then reconnect to drive home.
