Good stuff Coxsy, now you need one up front. If you ever break the dog gears inside it I know a gearmaker in CHCH that has rebuilt them for a good price.
Myself, got the winch that destroyed itself in the Chasm all rebuilt with new parts and spent the rest of the weekend doing a uni assignment. Found a PTO on TM goign as well for a good price. Not tellinh you ba****ds though as I will end up in a bidding war.

Went for a run through Woodhill yesterday and found it very cut up and some parts that used to be easily drivable only suitable for those with a winch and very big tyres.

Anyway while out there went to one of the mud areas and tried to go through what used to be a puddle only to find that the Cruiser would Belly itself. Having no winch and on my own I was stuck waiting for the safty patrol. They turned up and were very friendly and got me out with a bit of persuasion from a couple of other well set up Cruisers. Not sure which club you guys were from, but a big thanks to you all for your help. All seemed like a good bunch of guys too.... Maybe if one of you read this you can let me know which club your from, anyway thanks again, you did a great job...

Crappy weather all weekend so I started to wash down a spare diff I had sitting around. By the time I finished it ended up looking like this.

Image

It's a shame to have to paint it and stick it under the truck!

Well, I had to make it look pretty to suit the new shocks some incredibly generous soul provided!

I ended up trying out those 3M paint stripping discs on the angle grinder, as there were a few rusty areas and I don't like work (such as sanding, washing, drying etc.). They were so amazingly effective I just didn't bother stopping until there was no paint left.

I've just got to modify the lower bushings to fit them, but will do that when I change over to the 5.12 diffs. That one I've cleaned up is all painted and I'm getting the refurbished LSD fitted to it so I can do the changeover and susp' lift at the same time.

It's getting Britty's first choice of colour-scheme, Snow-camo over black sills.

Got a trip planned for September, give me a call one night.

the track and not wearing fluro -( thats really a basic with motorsport ),there
were a few other things they will have to tighten up on to or we will not have them
back in whangas....

nah, I was the dude in the white ute with the headset running the grid, that came down when something serious happened, and to give a hand. yeah, some of the helpers arent the brightest sparks, but if theyre on the track the cars are not. so not overly dangerous.

Yeah, i`m getting a bit that way, but if i dont run the days it dont leave a lot of other ppl to do it.

Running Dual batles is pretty tricky..
