I have a BJ74 running a 13bt, we are reconnecting the engine shut off unit and are having trouble, we have found a broken bit under the dash that we think was a relay that operates the vacuum switch above the starter motor. unfortunatly it is busted beyond recognition (no part # left to work out what it was) so I am hoping one of you with a seventy would kindly look under your dash to the right hand side of the heater unit for what looks like a relay but instead of standard plug straight off it it has two wires coming out about three inches long to the two pin plug. please can you get # off unit and try turning you engine off with it unplugged. your help will be greatly appreciated I am sick of having to pull a cable to shut of my wagon. Cheers Stephen

thanks ski but have almost sorted. don't think it has anything to do with shut off valve after all we might have a plumbing problem. but all the same a part # would help. I don't have a picture cause mine is missing. If you look on the drivers side under dash to the left beside the heater (where the indicator flasher unit etc is) there should be one relay looking thingy with two wires coming out? any help would be appreciated. cheers Stephen
