Hey all,

I've tried searching but haven't found much information on connecting a 2JZ to a cruiser gearbox.. I'm running cruiser diffs so need a cruiser box for the offset rear output.

I found enough info for running an auto - just change the bellhousing but what would I need for a manual gearbox?

The auto is easy enough to do and not too hard to find but I'm not sold on autos just yet.

Currently got a 2LT infront of a Blizzard gearbox so looking into different repowering options.

If you use a Prado one the kit is different to this ...

2JZ pattern isn't the same as a 1UZ though... The 2JZ's are designed for the lighter duty gearbox's, any prado one should be ok and its offset...

I think certain 2JZs came infront of R series gearboxes, so one would assume that the bellhousings would swap over?

Just like they do with the autos?

hmm... I though the R series only came on the Turbo and Twin Turbo 2J's?

Yeah well if I'm going to do a 2JZ swap I'll go all out

From what I can tell yes the turbo 2JZs came with R series boxes the only exception being the 6 speed model.

for a 2JZ swap to be all out it needs a side of Nas
