Nissan Transmission available - cheap

I've got a Nissan Patrol transmission here in a big cardboard box, part No. 32010-VB360 - or at least that's the part No,. of the brand new transmission which replaced it.
You can have it, for the cost of shouting morning tea for an office of professional engineers, which is not much, but you can work it out with them.
Apparently this manual 5 speed was removed from a 1998/9 3.0L diesel Patrol and partially dismantled. The engineer's guy was told it had some kind of fatal fault and was sold a brand new box for about $12k. When the new box was installed, the old one (alloy housing type) was nicely wrapped up and put back in the box from Nissan.
My contact in the same engineering company was formerly a handy mechanic. He reckons someone's been stiffed for $12k and from what he can see of the old parts, there is no problem. he's asked me to help get rid of it.
So now there's this great big cardboard box full of bits going for the cost of a few cream buns and flat whites, perhaps even the odd soy latte. No guarantees whatsoever that its any good for anything, but if you own one of these Patrols or any Nissan needing a chunky box, I think it would be a good investment.
My clubmates with 4.2L Patrols tell me it won't fit the bigger engine, that's all I know. Send me a PM if you can do a quick deal without questions no one will be able to answer, offer an amount, and its yours. No rush to collect it, but its a nuisance in my office and I'd love to get rid of it. cheers, Gordon
