Heard a rumour that a Lexus v8 bolts up to auto off a 3.1 turbo diesel.
Can anyone confirm this?

the uz u1 bell bolts up .. you need to do a little work with the pump and converter

Take a look at this link. Had an Aurora for a while and it ran great, excellent mileage as well as smooth with plenty of power.
