fj 40 diff rear issues

fj 40 diff rear issues
semi to full floating mod' on rear. will i have to change diff housing to do this mod or not, will it just bolt up and be a dream , ? cheers wazza

yep you'll have to change the housing, hubs and axles

I'm not sure but if I was going to do it i'd go for the full housing swap out. Would be easy to do - jack up, remove drive shaft, remove brake line & shocks, undo u-bolts - swap diffs and reverse...
