my advise to you would be keep looking...................go for a 84-85 beam axle type,it will pay off in the long run if you want reliable drive train.

so keep ya cash and ears open.

my personal opinion for me with 4wds is why buy one done cos im never happy and change everthing anyway so ive learnt to buy my trucks from stock std and build them up how i want it from day one

but hey its youre wallet dude so good luck with purchasing ,and i think you looking at toyotas is a good move

I think he wants to much

Very reliable.
Snorkel. $200
Hankook Mud tyres only 6 months old. What size are they?
Lifted 2 inches.$50 for longer shackles
Lock right diff lock in rear. can somone who has one quote this
New ABV manual Hubs.
Have removed carpet to stop it getting dirty and can refit if required.
Very cheap to run.
Extended Diff breathers.$30

I payed $2100 for mine standard, with 160k's on it. It was in great condition, I have had no problems apart from wear and tear.
That one has had a lot of 4wding and look at what lloyd wanted for his one before the moter blew.

Too expensive - also no mention of whether the rear LR has been certified; if it hasn't, and its picked up at WOF, you're up for a $350 cert fee ... and, until it is certified Insurance companies have an out.

Don't go near IFS if you intend to get your truck really dirty :P .

It can be summed up in two words:

TOO DAMNED EXPENSIVE

In the words of that aussie guy in "The Castle"... He's dreaming...

$4500 for a $1500-$2000 truck with $1000 absolute max worth of mods. Sorry if the owner is on here and I just shot you down, but thats excessive.

Keep looking... you could buy a later model truck for that and spend a few hundred lifting it by 50mm, a far better option.
