Rallywoods next weekend 3/4 Oct

Post by curly12 »

I know that there is a training weekend the following weekend but we got some firewood cut last time at Rallywoods. However it was a bit to wet to be able to recover the rounds, so it would be nice to sort it before then.

So the plan is, weather permitting, to remove the cut rounds and deal to the rest of the tree and move it all to the hanger to dry.

Failing that we will look at some tracks that need work done on them.

I will be heading in on the Friday at 3pm and will leave the key in the normal place. If you need to know where that is please pm or ring me (0211380018). Remember there is no cell phone reception at the hut.
Saturday firewood and track clearing

Please bring usual tools etc, drinking water and some diesel for the genny.

9am start on sat please

Sat night option to stay also

Sunday will be a tidy up of the Bazebo, needs a good spring clean, anyone got a weed eater they could bring please

Credits will be paid out for firewood. :D :D

If you just come up just to play you will pay!!!

Any questions please post or PM

Cheers
Nigel

Saturday firewood and track clearing

From the shareholders....

Quote:
We will provide credits for the people doing the fire wood.

For track clearing and maintenance we would not provide credits but if you spend half your time track clearing and half your time 4wding you would not need to pay for this weekend.

Please bring usual tools etc, drinking water and some diesel for the genny.

9am start on sat please

Sat night option to stay also

Thanks guys for your help, got heaps done. Although MrO did decide to see just how strong his roll cage is. He has a wee brown spot on the drivers seat and I don't think that the damage will buff out of his roof, bonnet, guards, grill or steering wheel

Actually I reckon that 2's hilux is straighter than MrO's POS now
