I'm looking for a replacement Cruiser 70 radiator

What other radiators would be suitable, and cost effective?

Who has one and where can I find it and what would be the cost?

what is wrong with the old one

is it actually broken, or does it just need a good clean

next time ya venture out into dirty, shitty, muddy water, take a core flute real estate sign and wedge it in front of the radiator to limit the amount of crap forcing its way into your fridge

It's still working but just. We soaked, cleaned, soaked again but the fins on the bottom 1/4 are munted.

When you part yours out can I have the radiator?

Theres nothing wrong with 70 series radiators, there very effective at keeping the engine cool so long as they arent full of mud so you wont acheive anything cooling wise by putting something else in there

dunno what you'd pay for a re-core but I got stung $550 3 or 4 years ago when I had mine done, if your looking at those trademe ones check to see that they are a 4 core and not a 3 core radiator or you'll be decreasing your cooling efficency

Oh yeah and stay out of the mud and you shouldnt have any problems

Well I will pray to the 4wd Gods and try and stay out of the mud and get into the realestate (sign) market, and hopefully that will keep me going for a while yet.

Get the diesel one if its good.

If all that needs changing is the outlet on the bottom, it'l maybe cost you $60 to get it done, and they will probably flush and pressure test it for you for that aswell

The radiator place n Petone is good as well, and its a good habit to wash your truck outside and underneath after every trip as well .... including the radiator as each subsequent trip bakes more on mud.

You used to be able to get your radiator recored with really wide apart and thicker fins (cant remember who did them though). It increased the radiator capacity and the fins were wide enough that you could just squirt your water bottle at it and the mud would wash straight out
