hi guys

thought i better sign up after prowling the site for some time on and off.

It started as a kid in the old mans landy, ever since ive loved the mud.

4yrs ago a mate went to the jeep dealer in welly to buy himself a jeep, and i fell in love with a wrangler on the show room floor.

We were then invited after my mates purchase on a jeep day through the back of makara, man was i impressed with where that stock XJ cherokee limited could go.

Not long after i purchased a 96 wrangler renegade and boy did i love that beast, red rocks was a regular play area.

Unfortunately my circumstances changed and it was bye bye to my truck

However things have changed again and i have managed to pick myself up a 95 XJ cherokee limited in average condition.

I have ordered a complete master bush kit from the states and an currently waiting for reply emails about new shocks etc, no real plans for a lift or anything like that, just a freshen up of the suspension and some new 30's

Sounds like your in Wellington, theres usually a few trips going on around here so keep your eye out on the forums

Thanks for the warm welcome, im no longer in welly otherwise i would be heading to the recovery training, now im up just south of taupo for approx another 4-5 months then i will be in tauranga and hope to join a club up there for some mud action, close enough to the woodhill park for a day trip too!

there is also the new TECT PARK (spelling??) being opened soon up around tauranga

Theres a few Jeepers in Tauranga, Whakatane, Kawerau with Cj's, TJ's and a couple of lifted XJ's, im sure we'll look after ya!

Awesome, was thinking of joining a 4x4 club up that way to get out with a few others that way i can get the lay of the land.

Story is it's opening (perhaps at) the end of 2010. there was some kind of hangup that's created a delay.
