Reading the Toyota service manual , they don't say to renew the head bolts when the head is off.
Is it nessary to replace the bolts?

bought 20 odd something new ones for my 1HD-T

they were not too badly priced

I got told that most head bolts were one time use things, so must be replaced if the head is off

not worth the risk if thats the case
