Post by mudmike »

Hi
I'm after a pto for a 70 transfer, but I want the one with forward and reverse on the pto, currently have the standard pto finding wiinching out to slow in reverse.
Would be happy to do swap with cash or buy outright.
any ideas would be good
thanks

Thanks for the offer, the pto drive needs to have the in/out on the lever, realy need the two direction pto drive. what area are you in? I'm in Auckland, am going to manukau winch challenge if your coming to it.
What condition is it in? I'm keen even if just as a spare.
thanks

You do know that you will have to modify your transfer case housing to fit the fwd/rev version? Fairly sure they only bolt on to the old 40 series t-case, not the split-case one in late model 40's & in 60's & 70's.

Cheers

no I'm pretty sure they did a 60 that had it, it is just not that common.

60 series complete for sale with PTO... Worth the asking price just for parts, and may have the PTO output you want... I can confirm what WOPASS said - I found one which bolted up just fine on my 40...

You still looking? I'm stripping my truck and selling the parts, so have one for sale if you're still interested...
How much are you offering? I'm guessing around $30 freight to Auckland...
