Site slowness

It seems google and yahoo bots have taken a liking to the site today. I made a few changes to the pages, added a site map for google and now it seems the google bot wants to visit every page so the site is going to be slow for most of the night I imagine especially as people come online later. If it gets to high the server will reset itself thus cutting off the bots (and everyone else) for a few seconds. hopefully the bots will take a while to ramp back up again so there will be periods where the site will its normal fastish self.
