Hi all,

Caught a stone tonight just below roof line directly above drivers field of vision ( but well clear of vision line) Its an impact about size of 20c piece.

I've got windscreen cover but ( always a but :( ) I have a fair amount of rust around the screen I think the surround will be history when the windscreen is removed. So I could either take this opportunity to sort the the rust and get a new screen or see if I can get a repair ? The cracks round so far but i guess it may creep

I thinks its possible to get fibreglass panels for around the screen ? It all appears to unbolt ?

Any ideas advice appreciated.

Cheers,

Pete

I think its probably a replace - not sure if its repairable. I will start the hunt for a new panel

Theres a guy in the Hutt who does excellent work at resonable prices if the panel price scares you off

JTOP,

The panel price is scary! About $950 new part from Japan or approx $500 fibreglass. Or possibly a NOVUS patch up and worry bout the rust later....

Whats the name of the guy in the Hutt ?
