superwinch with synthetic rope?

wrecked my drum 
crushed it at both ends 
has anyone else had this problem?
crushed it at both ends has anyone else had this problem?We've heard of it once before with Amsteel, not sure which winch. What rope are you using?
Superwinch sell winches with synthetic rope which have the same drum as the wire rope winches.
