MASSIVE thanks must go to malfunction on here for checking out a truck for me.Got a cheap flight upto Welly on Sunday and then drove it back to CHCH today.

Awesome truck man. If I hadn't bought the Patrol by the time that was on TM I would like to think I would have ended up with that haha. Taking it out this weekend?

Real stoked. Cruised about 90kmph with the 4.88s and it seemed all good,Will be getting a set of extrators and a power run on a dyno to see if i could beneifit from a aftermarket ecu.Any info about these motors that I should know?,What oil they like etc would be mint..
Only problem i came across was a little oil leak,but turned out to be the olive on a mechanical oil pressure gauge so no biggie Swapping it for a autometer electrical item anyway.

Taking it out this weekend?

Haha i wish!.I was lucky to get the 2 days off to go get the thing..But will be out and about on as many trips as i can in a month or so.
