have a closer look, as far as I know the 91 prado were only made in 2.4 turb, they are normally the 2lt which is the weaker of the 2.4 turbs (compared to the later 2lt-e) but both are still shocking at blowing heads, other than the head troubles they are a very nice truck being 4 wheel coil and disc

check if it has electric hubs and if they work, motor esp the 2lt are known for cracked head issues but these are not a major to replace, or repower ...., do a search on here on 2lt....

capable and comfy.....

if this is the truck then it doesn't mention a cert for the motor swop, which may be an issue or not..., swb ones don't come up too often on TM, 4.88 diffs

Would make a good start for a build up, and get you alot of places standard. will take bigger rubber with no mods.

Sweet...

I have 2 spare speedo clusters if you need parts...., i may have some spare window parts as well, although it may just need a bit of silicone spray in the door bits and down the window rubbers.

Check the front suspension bushes when you get it as well as the body and door drain plugs, find out when the last service was done as well, may be due for all the fluids.

The rear discs have a silly handbrake drum behind it which is a pain in the as5 as you lose your handbrake after the first mud hole, Jafa sells MR2 adaptor plates, however the suburu conversion may be a better fit (well it looks better on mine), the rear handbrake shoes are $$$ (can get then recoated apparantly)

Be ready to smash rear corners and taillights, I did 4 on my old LJ71 and have already done 2 on my current pos, have a chat to Stinky re some hooks and barwook,

Get the rust sorted quickly, have a chat grahem at classic cars if you need help.
