97 hilux help

Hi. Got a problem with my '97 Hilux. The dash lights don't work but all other electrics are working well. I have power to the relay but then it dissapears. I am trying to find a free online manual or some help. Short of strapping a torch to the steering column can anyone offer any assistance. Cheers.
