To part out or not...

Arvo all, we've recently aquired a lwb vitara.
Still road legal, other than warrant.

Only issue with it is that the auto will only select 1st & 2nd, and if you click overdrive button it hits neutral.


Any one with any ideas? Do you reckon its worth investigating, or part the vehicle out.

you should be able to pick up an auto box on t/me for around
$250.If its still road legal they go for 2k plus, certainly worth
doing.
