alright so there is a mark on the pump and a mark on the mounting plate... and those marks should line up from the factory... but can the pump be easily twisted a few degrees in any direction to give greater performance? I've heard about them being adjusted before in this way im sure.

yeap. best was to set them up is with a dial guage in the back of the pump
