The conversion costs are usually about the same regardless of what engine you stick in it, adaptor plate/bell housing, exhausts, clutch, computer and tuning, radiator etc etc...... might as well go lexus and get the best bang for your buck

There has been a few lexus v8 conversions done so lots of info out there. think the mid sump is the best fit ( but could be wrong). There is a couple that even do drive/tow in drive out conversions. Like to do the lexus in my kzj78.

mmmaybe. But i was very heavy footed on very steep angles for far too long getting caught in the moment and it wasn't getting enough oil. Silly mistakes from a still relatively new 4wder and have (hopefully) learnt from my mistakes. They make very good power (as i'm sure lexus motors do) and i've had a lot of fun with mine. Have heard lexus motors can be very hard to get right in a conversion but the v6 is nice and straight forward. And not quite 4 only on to my third  Lucky they are nice and cheap

Have only done 1 full tank without 4wding in between or not towing a suzuki on trailer and that was when i bought it. Got 14l/100km from palmy to auckland through the wanganui gorge trying out the power of it
