my truck has started to "die" when it gets a bit of a lean on, not very helpful when you need to maintain forward momentum. truck runs again for maybe 30 seconds when restarted but just keeps dieing untill i get it onto level ground.
has over half a tank of diesel and is still doing it.
cheers deano

does it get worse when there is less fuel in the tank? Could be a hole in the fuel line up above the pickup inside the tank.

has started to get worse but fuel level doesnt change anything. wont idle for more than a minute or two now but starts straight away, for another minute or so. before stopping again

so you are saying that it does not do it on the flat ...
Mine does it when the fuel filter gets blocked, on any angle or flat, though I am not running straight diesel

fire it up and grab a handful of wires under the dash and push them around, try to get into area where you think the clicking is coming from, if it has a effect you have a bad connection or bad wires, if it only happens on a lean then something is moving to cause issues if its electrical,

Hey Mate, theres a fuel controll relay attached to the glovebox it has 2 8mm nuts inside the glovebox to undo it, they give alot of trouble and can cause the problems your having.
