Another fun day had by all today playing on Worsleys spur. In attendance: me( U-571), Tim( 35" Surf) , Rob( simex dualcab Hilux), Choppy( Locked Toyota), and Sam(softtop paj). Track was dry and dusty with some remanants of mud left in some of the holes. Heading off some took the high road and some the low road but all made it up with no difficulties. Most difficult spots were difinitely attempted by myself and Tim, can't say for the rest as I was in front so couldn't see past third truck. Coming down, I thought I would follow Tim for a bit of adventure. and that's where the fun started. Took an offshoot to the main track and ended up on a nasty sidling, tried reversing out, but didn't like it too much. Finally decide to go forward and down. Knew shit would happen and presto, arse started sliding down trying to compete with the front wheels for first place. Little power on the V6 and we were away, problem was I now had a barbed wire fence in front of me. I think Tim thought I was going to land on is roof, but I managed to get her round the corner under a little engine braking. Next obstacle was a steep descent down into a mud hole and across serious rutts(read nasty angles) and more potential bad shit. I was following Tim and he was doing good until the final rutts and he was on and angle that his missus didn't find to comforting and played a little reverse here, forward there, reverse here and he was through. Handy that as I now knew what not to do and got through pretty ok. You see were your left wheel went there was a 4 foot drop straight down, let your imagination flow. Rob came next and shit happened, suddenly he was on such an angle that he could put his hand out flat and touch the ground with his palm. A few boys bouncing on the raised corner, a little reversing and he was through, with stained jocks I might add. After that little encounter, I think we all decided that enough was enough and to take it a little easier down hill for now, another good day 4wheeling. And great beer afterwards I might add.

rain, hail, sleet or snow, we go!
went up this track last nite when it was dry, also went up today(tuesday) in my lunchbreak from work, was a whole different ballgame when its been drizzling all morning, the ruts fill up and the rocks and clay get really slippery, still only takes about 30 mins to get up but is good fun as it is 5 mins from my place,

You must be taking the easy tracks

Next time we have a trip on come out and play, heaps more fun you can have when there is plenty of well equipped trucks to get you out of trouble

You will try things you wouldn't normally do

don't know if that's always good, Dads double cab hilux was on such an angle he had his arm out the drivers window, hand on the ground, he's still behind the steering wheel

Wish we had time to have taken a pic, but we were all running, then hanging off the vehicle to stop it from tettering

I hate signatures
