anybody know much about weber carbs?
see the odd 1 pop up for around $300
and can get adaptor for $50
theres a tidy looking 32/36 on trademe now...
worth doing for the price to get my 3y running beter offroad?

was a guy in akl with one on trade me a while back try a sppedway shop they mite have new ones sydham park spares down here had some sitting on the shelf last time i was there they might have a web site

Weber carbs where a popular modification for road and track cars in the late 60's 70's and 80's, they where hard to get the jetting right but once set would stay in tune unlike the twin carbs they replaced as a modification. I am unsure how they perform in an offroad situation as not all carbs are built to work at extreme angles. The SU's and Stromberg side draught carbs featured a variable venturi controlled by a piston that has a needle attached to it that gives it a controlled main jet that you can adjust the starting point of, this along with their excellent fuel bowl and needle and seat makes them an excellent offroad carb, this could be an alternative for you to look at.

i wana do a re.power when money allows, just wana get the 3y running smoother, it doesnt miss a beat, likes to rev, just gets a bit rough once offroad..
or maybe its worth getting current card serviced as i used to run l.p.g
