have you got a front locker in there? if not it works wonders in slowing down the breakages. I break one every 2-3 years with a locker in there, instead of nearly every hard track

Maratoto wasn't to bad, the loop was awesome.Age old story, ill just drive this bit , then turn around
bring on the Zuk and then ill be back to to the loop with a vengeance.

I was amazed how well the surf went on the way out, ilding everywhere in first low,

ive put off putting a locker in the front for ages know. just cant bring myself to spend money on a POS diff when i should just be SAS ing it.
But seeing as i have mashed a diff just about every time ive been out recently , its starting to look cost effective.

How does your truck handle with the auto-locker in the front? I don't really like the idea of trying to turn whilst going down a hill and just going straight instead. Or having it kick in half way down a hill.

It drives awesome. Its with anything, if you know the limitations then you learn to get around them. I love my front locker and would never not have one now. Replacing the diff once in mine would have paid for my locker years ago. I didnt make that mistake twice. With a front locker I havn't needed to sas mine as i just crawl over everything and the locker makes up for lack of travel. Sure people will argue you need to sas but I havnt seen the need with the front locker and ive taken the surf some pretty cool places with very little to no damage.

Sounds like a plan then. its supposed to just be my touring , lite duty truck  but i need to make it reliable. SAS is still the long turn plan , just because its so much cooler than IFS

I been lucky to date , only paid $70 a piece for the last 3 diffs . I reduced the front CV angle to help with the CV breakages and started doing diffs instead.

Any one know of a cheap IFS auto-locker up fro grabs?

Is this your standard response Jerry to any one who needs a diff?
Ive seen you post the same thing in 3 threads in the last 2 days.

I'm sure Skid is sick to death of pm's about HIS spare parts collection
I normally prefer to wait for people to offer their spare parts instead of harassing them for them.

Rant over , just get sick to death of all the pointless bull*%$# that gets posted some times.
