Clutch master cylinder

Hi all
My clutch cyl is losing fluid (second time in 15mths).
I can see where it has been slowly draining from between the master cyl and booster as the paint has peeled etc.
Also when I top the fluid up it turns dirty or black after awhile, the clutch operation seems to be ok though?
Last time I replaced the small rubber seal with no probs, but surely it can't be stuffed again can it? The piston rod is in good cond.
Any help appreciated

Yeah that sounds a lot easier, plus you know you have got a whole new cylinder as well.
The fluid keeps getting dirty as well so when I get back from the Coast i'll completely gravity bleed/flush the system. Plus i'll take a spare servo unit/master cyl with me just in case it poops itself.
Merry Xmas every one.
