Can i turn up the injector pump if so where do i turn it up

have you fitted a turbo to it ?

yes one off the 2lte and now it doesnt blow black at all

if power is up i would be inclined to leave it. you could have been overfueling enough to start with.
if you want more then fit EGT guage and adjust screw on the back of the pump. just be aware without a boost comp if you wind it up you will have a point where you will be way overfueling. minor adjustment might be ok but for anything decent get a boost comp off a 2lt injection pump.

hi is it the adjustor above the injector lines which direction do i turn it and how many turns would you recomend to turn it . the truck is purely for offroad so any recomendation will be appreciated

hi its a 2l with the original injector pump

i can't remember what they used to do (1/8 turn, 1/4 turn ??) but if yours was overfueling to start with then that throws it out the window.

fit an EGT guage !

poor mans way, turn it up a fraction take it for a quick drive. if it blows a cloud of smoke (ie more than a puff) when you stand on the throttle then back it down a bit and retest.
you don't want it blowing to much smoke otherwise you will just blow the weak head.

thanks for your help the wire with the seals were still on the injector pump whether it was still original i dont know but it goes alot better now
