New Purchase's

Post by FORGE1 »

Hey guys I had 2 offers over the weekend that I couldnt refuse and my partner said I could get them so very happy.

Big purchase Number 1:

1989 Nissan Safari LWB Low roof 223,000kms, manual (converted 12months ago cost $3,000 I thought it was a bit high but hey I didnt pay for it), A/Market Turbo kit (12months old cost them $4,000), 31' m/t tyres, needs a little tiding up but wasnt hard.
$2,800.

Plans are to go away in 3 weeks and once back 3' lift kit 32' or 33' m/t tyres, custom snorkel and pto winch.

Purchse number 2:

1990 Toyota Hilux Surf 2.4 180,000kms, auto, something wrong with motor. rego and wof.
$300

Plans are to repower the Hilux with a TD27-T

will post pics of the builds as I go. its going to be a busy couple of months.

As much as I love Nissan motors, why would you put all that effort putting a TD27t into anything? For the same effort you could put something a shit load better in.
Nissan Terrano coilovers, turboed VH45, Safari axles, and some other stuff.

Yeah mate I hope to have the Safari all reg and wof this week so I can go on holiday then we can hit the tracks. Put it this way its got traction in the wet and its only boosting 7psi.
