Can anyone recomend a panel beater in CHCH, or better a panel beater wanting to do a cash job? Just want to cut the inner gaurds to clear tyres.

Can't recommend a panel beater, but can give you another option. If you have a lift +/- body lift, just put some radius arm spacers in to bring the front axle forward. That's what I did, running 35" tyres.

Yeah thanks its just the rear ones rubbing quite bad in the inner gaurd and I don't want to lift any more. I do have longer rear control arms, Rick said to change offset of rims but then it will expose the brake rotors and then would probably need to cut outer gaurds. And can't afford new narrower tyres at the moment.

Mud Hog....Who did you end up using?
An old thread I know but need to trim my rear guards now as well.
Rayndeb - Is Darryl by the old waimak bridge?
Cheers.

Just ended up using my grinder. Kind of tubbed it cut the whole inner guard bashed it up square and welded a plate in. And cut off captive nut that rear seat belts used as I had removed them. They were always catching on that nut. Sorry no help on a panel beater.
