clutch for 70 series

clutch for 70 series landcrusier
want to replace it and who knows 4 terrain and or terrain tamer?
Was told that t tamer is the way to go but forums in Oz talk positively abt 4 terrain? Who knows what to do and why?

Depends what you are using the truck for. I've got a 70 and use it hard offroad, water etc etc and its running a standard clutch. Bout 300ish for a clutch kit and haven't had any trouble at all (touch wood)

Unless you have re-powered, a standard clutch should be fine. If it ain't broke, don't fix it... If it's slipping - it may just need a good clean out or new pressure plate. Mud does that...

Where are you?

I have a couple of old clutches lying around - off a 60 series Cruiser with 2F motor. May fit and no cost if you want to try one...

planning a little big bigger, continents if I get the $$ together
I am in Tauranga. Have aftermarket Safari Turbo in there plus will carry some weight on the back (cab)

that's why, any feedback abt 4terrain or t.tamer is apprecaited here

give tony a ring at clutch systems chch.i had clutch issues,he helped me out,& also loads cheaper than aussie big name clutches. :D
