yea people always say that about these engines but for under a grand i reckon it looks alright. tryed to talk the old man in to a cruiser but he wouldnt part with more than 2g. and yet the question remains?
why would it have no grunt? has it done the head/head gasket?

When i had my first Pajero it was one of those motors , and the wastegate actuactor for the turbo was broken , maybe thats why it is slow..

turbo wast gate controller
when my waste gate opened up on a trip back from the coast it was slow as on the hills. But it smoked black as an covered boh side of the road from over fueling.
