I have fitted a set of Chamberlin HD Standard height front coils,as standard height coils they have lifted the front up by approx 50mm so now need to replace the shocks .
What is the best brand to mix with these coils.to get a nice firm but not a hard ride?

How can they be Standard height if you are having to replace the shocks?
Or... If by replacing the springs, the vehicle height is now back to standard, then why the need to replace the shocks?
My -71 has definitely dropped in the rear - I carry a lot of tools & steel recovery gear.
I suspect the front end has dropped too though it is not as bad as the rear.
On KL-71 31's, measuring Centreline of wheels
Front fibreglass flare to ground 830mm
Rear fg flare 850mm (Currently rear is empty of load, a rare occurrence)

Springs were brought as standard height and rechecked by Chamberlins , now there is only about 30mm of outward travel before the shocks are fully extendard.

I ran OME shocks and springs on the old LJ71, the new one has them as well, they seem to ride good on and offroad.
