UFO the old TV series.

Anyone as old as me remember this series?
When I was a young fella I remember the aliens freaking the crap out of me. Especially when their helmets filled with a green liquid emptied.

I was watching it with my twin bro tonight. We were both laughing and going "wow" at the same time.
Loved that show, when I was aloud to watch it.

Left overs? Jerry I hope will correct me if I'm wrong.
But I think this one came out before the Thunderbirds?
So the Thunderbirds took out bits of this one?
I was sure the series started in 1969 or 1970.
It was WAY ahead of it's time.
