Weekends Achievements 01/02 April 06

Post by lilpigzuk »

Well I will start this weekends ball rolling....

I became a Dad for the first time today :D 8)
Pretty bloody stoked I can tell ya. Wife had a fairly hard 14 hr labour, but both her and Jessica came out well at the end.

Poor Girl is gonna have to put up with some nasty April fools tricks for her bday every year when she gets older though

Well off to bed to catch up on sleep and make the most of quiet times while they are in birthcare.

cheers

congrats on the new "winchbitch" :D 8) . Mine third is only 10wks and will be on his first big 4wd trip at easter. All I've managed is to wire up the new rear work light and build anohter cargo box on the left hand side of the wagon. Today I might fit the false floor or re-tap a bolt hole for one of my front tow hooks.

Congrats on the new addition. Mabye a future member of the website if 4wding is still around in 15 years :?

I drove the surf to the supermarket and wished yet again on was offroad somewhere. Watching the crusaders win over the hurricanes in the cake tin lead to alot of beer and thus sunday was written off.

I did on Saturday happen to buy a near new condition full length hooded and lined swanndrei for 4wding at the salvation army store for 10 bucks!! who needs trademe eh

the eastern bush winch event is being run by the southland landrover club starting at 3pm and running til midnight , it will be interesting in the dark!!!
phone allistair richards 03 225 5665 for more info..
yeah that 60 series landcruiser with the 18 inch lift and tunnel ram 400 chev with 39 inch swampers was pretty cool. shame it was crap in the mud. may be next time out it will be sorted, and should go a lot better.
the next rally is at the cadrona ride park sat 13 may contact bruce perry
021 532 084. it will be a big weekend that 1.

the hilux with the twin snorkels runs a 350 chev , it goes pretty good. the other swb prado has a quad cam lexus engine and auto. he pulled himself out of that hole (from on its side) with his twin engined winch in a matter of seconds.
