Just finished talking with me partner Rach about this ORE place.
I've out stayed my welcome people.

Really enjoyed my time here over the years. Made a couple of good friends.
Mike Stent would have to be one of the best buggers i know here. I know no other like him. He's awesome. My hat is off to him. His wife has scored a top bloke. Hang on to em girl. I'm sure you know how lucky you are by now.

But I'm sure you'll all agree, I'm guilty of posting more stuff NOT related to 4X4. And this IS a 4X4 forum. So really. I'm not suited here. Time I went.

I do wish, before I started building my truck, i had of come across this place. Because i know lots of people would of helped me to make the right calls on what to do. This place is farking awesome for helping people out in that area. It's a great place for finding the right tracks and company to travel those tracks with.

Jerry, skid. I'd like to meet you fellas one day when i finally behave myself and get a pass from Rach to travel north, n meet mates in Aucks. I'll stop by and say hello for sure.. You two are hard cases. Love ya.

FFS Pete ring Mike at some stage over the next couple of days and see if he can change the system so that you can only see offtopic post by going through the forum page that way know one can bitch and moan at you anymore, and besides you post up plenty of ammo so I can give you shit in person at the workshop it would be boaring with out it

A lot of people use the New Posts button and when you click on it it comes up like the bored housewives handy home hints messageboard

stick everything in one off topic thread like the Daytime Posting thread instead of 15 new threads a day and the site index wont get cluttered with crap and other forum users wont get pissed off

Well Pete if you're gone then thats your choice, I have no personal problem with you and you just happen to be the person that has copped it this time. I am all for off topic and usually enjoy reading it when i choose but every year or two this website gets to a point where the site is 90 percent shit where grown men are bitching at each other like school girls and someone starts a pointless thread once every two minutes. I am just as guilty as you but at some point I thought it was time to state MY opinion. You have been going on for months that its your right to post your opinion and as soon as someone else does you throw your toys and leave. I and many others enjoy your build thread and some of your off topic ramblings so don't forget to keep them updated.

Well people, Pete's been on here for 4 years and has made some good friends and a few foes. Thats the nature of a public forum, I guess.
He has really enjoyed discussing events and expressing opinions.
Yes, there has been some withdrawal symptoms today.
After reading what has been written, I can see there are some very simple but good ideas regarding new forums e.g. Daily Post, with a variety of topics, keeping it in one area.
Thanks to those that supported Pete during these last few years.
