Tires are like boobs, they always look big until you have played with them for a while, then you just want a bigger set.

You could buy some tube and borrow a flare tool to make your own? You can either buy a tube bender or just bend the tube over your knee/palm/ other curved surface.

I'm borrowing the flare tool from a workmate (who has just built a lotus 7 replica) and he mentioned that all pipes these days need a double flare (which my factory lines do not have) so if you choose to do your own just be careful.
phone Ross Bolus (secretary of the BOP club) He'll save you.

Im in ChCh , spare line , mates flare kit , etc ,etc is in Auckland. So easier and more satisfying to have it done while im down here. at least im doing some thing on my truck

my Zuk is an 85 , single flare only or wont fit the factory parts.
I bent the template using a ring spanner. but not happy with end result even though the bends are sweet ,line is corroded and the nuts are completely stuffed.

breaks are critical , so happy to have it done right.

ok , i went to safe r brakes today as was just around the corner from where im working ,
got ignored for 15mins  , when some one finally talked to me they weren't interested, as just a real small job. got fobbed off and told to come back tomorrow when they "might" be able to help me  asked for a quote and got told about $50  but would depend on labor :?

So jumped in the car and went out to Digger's ,Brake's and Cable's in Hornby.
Awesome service , made the part for me on the spot , putting aside what they were working on. $20 all up. Chatted the whole time about 4wd's with the guys.

Cheers Tim , advice much appreciated.

Any guys looking for break work in ChCh go and see Digger's , Brake's and Cable's .
