Do 90's model hilux grilles come anywhere close to fitting the 80's shape lux models?

Thats not actually a bad idea.
Except i do not have one here to trial fit.
I reckon it would be no problem with a little cutting tho............
Anyone in hams got a spare saf grille sitting around I could look at?

edit-

a vitara grille would have no hope of fitting IIRC. don't they have funny shaped lights?

have you sorted out some SWEEET stickers which would make your truck "LOOK" cool, may gain some horse power from them even though they do weigh a bit......

It is a factory grille
I dont have one from this model truck and finding one local is an issue. These are everywhere.
Just borrowed one from a pre-facelift surf and it fits mint- just needs some trimming of brackets at the rear.
