Safari Grandroad diff lock question

Just purchased a 1989 Safari LWB Grandroad.
It has a few factory options, mainly the sway bar disconnect and a factory diff lock with switch on the dash.
I am assuming it is just the rear that it locks?
I know there are two solenoids high up on the fire wall on the passenger side.
I have had a feel while someone switches the switch and the bottom solenoid clicks but the top one doesn't.
Now I am assuming one is to lock the diff and one is to unlock?
Anyone know what is a common replacement for them other than the Nissan OEM ones?

yes either surf soliods or mac valves have a mac one in mine fast as and 1/4 the price of nissan ones

45A-AC 1-DDBR-1BA MAC valves, got it in Onehunga

Thanks for the help.
Anyway took the whale for a bit of a ride today, flicked the diff lock switch and what do you know about 5 seconds later diff lock light comes on. Drove for a minute or so and flicked switch off and again took about 5 seconds but disengaged.
Looks like it is working, just a little bit slow.

Mine was always slow to work, but if you drove slowly and turn side to side it engaged a lot faster

I can lift my truck up on a jack with rears in the air, open the drivers door spin the rear tyres, duck inside open door, flick switch spin wheels locked then back flick switch again spin disengauged

No different to engaging when you are cross axled, a factory solenoid will engage a lot faster when wheels are rotating at different speeds, or only one is rotating

Meant to say thats what I have found, as I would usually only engage mine when I was cross axled and it would engage very quickly, but would "swerve" side to side if engaging before I needed to as it seemed to take longer that way.

I had the locker gears all rebuilt, goes in and out as fast as an airlocker now.
