Well i got the exhaust modified in my 92 V6 surf - had the pipe that runs from the drivers side manifold to the passenger side manifold between the block and fire wall removed and a seperate pig tail put down into a Y join in the original pipe. Hasnt made a huge difference a little bit better in fuel economy and revs a bit quicker especially in first gear. I cut a bit more out of the original exhaust(which im going to have replaced with a 2.5inch pipe and a free flow muffler) and it seems to have a lot more grunt already so it should be sweet once it all fully done.

Anyway what i wanted to ask is can you get an EFI vehicle "tuned" ie get the timing and fuel mixture etc checked? I had an electrical fault fixed at a place in town and asked if they could check this but they said you dont need to in an EFI vehicle is that correct?

So long as all the sensors that supply info to the ECU are opperating correctly, and the plugs and leads are in good shape, it should look after its self??
