best place to buy steel

Hi all, I was just wondering where the best place to buy steel is?

I need some 2" pipe, 2.5" pipe, 8mm plate and some general sheets for body work, cold air box etc.

i buy steel plate / box etc form enterprise steel on rosebank road and tube/ pipe from steel and tube. they quite often have offcuts that they will sell alot cheaper than a full 6m length.

For sheet metal hit your local panel beater up for off cuts.

I've got some off south auckland steel in manukau and they had a huge variety plus an off cuts bin which was cheaper. A few places i've been to wouldn't sell me tube by the metre and only full lengths.

I've been buying steel of Mark at Steel South Auckland for a few years now. Would recommend him!
