Hi, I did this same swap in my 85 Lux, swapped 2L out for a 5L. engine mounts are the same, you need a flywheel to suit the newer motor and the clutch is 9.5inch not 9 like the 2L. I read on a lot of the Aussie forums that the bellhousing from a 3L was needed so used one of those too, although the main difference between the 2 bellhousings was only in the bolt spacings and may have been able to use the old one with a bit of grinding. Had a mate do the wiring. Quite straight forward but had a few issues that were more a lack of mechanical knowledge than anything.

hes just done a 3rz transplant, pretty much a bolt in job, but suggested to bolt engine and g/b out of vehicle then drop the both in together
