wanted deisel surf

my mate is after a diesel surf but she is only willing to pay up to $4000 can any one help.
they have found one on trade me in the waiarapa for $1000 but it needs a new motor is it worth buying it and getting a new motor for it.

I know where a 3lt surf that has a good recon motor plates dead very very tidy and he wants $1500 to $2000 for it . He just spent 3500 on motor.......Get both and make go truck out of two......Its just sitting there doing nothing....Its a 3lt turbo goes REALLY well........ ....Abbo
