rear radiator bleed valve

Post by chrome »

what are the options for a air bleed valve in the cooling system when running a rear mount??? iv chucked a air fitting on one of the old heater hoses so i can always run it higher than the engine.
any ideas if this will work??? might get too hot perhaps???

as long as the bleed is at the highest point on your truck you shouldnt have a problem.

i got a bleed valve off a radiator guy and soldered it to a bit of pipe which wasnt the right size so it made it a prik to get the hose on. you can buy bleeder valves from ripco i think.

You could grab a bleed valve and clear hose (to raise height during bleed) from the front trunk of an sw20 mr2. They run radiator up front and motor in back so need one.
phone Ross Bolus (secretary of the BOP club) He'll save you.
