pto from gen1 on to gen2 ????

does anybody ever try'd to fit a pto from the first gen pajero on a second gen pajero?? or does anybody know's if they would fit,
had a look the other day and it seems like it could work but need some info's before i start.

yup they fit i have one on mine, ya need to make a spacer for the frnt bolts or jst make a custom bumper to mount it to

You need to put the gen 1 transfer case gear into the gen two box to make them mesh - they are slightly different ratio.

Yours is a 3.5. I'm afraid the PTO won't mate to your gearbox.
