Structural Rust

Righty oh,

The question I would like to pose is what qualifies as structural rust?
Im assuming rust around hinges, on the chassis and the like would qualify but what other spots classify to be "structural"?

Im about to start overhauling the Cruiser and just wondering what areas I will really need to focus on if rust is found.

Everyone has different ideas on structural rust, but what ive read being a panelbeater is Chassis, pillars, door shuts, windscreen frames, sills, gaurd rails, hinge mounts etc.

+ body mounts and seatbelt mount points, firewall and parts of the floor I think. Just load bearing stuff and other important bits and pieces from what I can tell. A lot of seams and outer or inner skins will get away with rust so long as its not load bearing or have a massive rusty hole in it to cause other problems. The last warrant I got in my L200, I could almost see the road through the floor yet I've been failed on a bit of rust in the A-pillar in another car so I never know exactly what to do. Rust never friken sleeps so I'd just deal to wherever I found it.
Under stickers, rubber trim, where leaves n crap build up, under wet carpet or that sound deadening stuff seems to be the best places to cultivate rust. Also where welding was done at the factory can be problem areas for rust.
Might be worth talking to your normal wof guy if you don't wana go all out.
