top mount intercooler vs front mount cooler

what are ppls thoughts i am looking at cooling mt terrano and see alot of ppl go top but i have thought front is more effictive?

what are the pros and cons of each?

depends what your using it for, front mount good for towing on road, but longer pipework can mean more turbo lag, And they can clog with mud if used for serious offroading.
top mount- less lag, but not as effestive for cooling but will be further away form mud, they will get heatsoat from engine too...
It's just more fun in a lada !!

don't forget space requirements often dictate. some vehicles are difficult to fit one or the other.
tops mounts can be tricky for airflow as they compete with the radiator air flow especially when the main engine fan kicks in. top mounts really need a fan on it.
