4x4 Challenges AGM and Meeting 16 May
Posted: Wed May 05, 2010 11:34 am
Most members should have been notified by now but for those that haven't heard the AGM (followed by general meeting) is on the 16th May in Auckland.
The meeting is to be held at 11.00am on 16 May 2010 at 36 Parnell Rd (corner of Parnell Rd and York St) in Parnell Auckland. (bring a folding chair please)
In an ideal world I'd like someone else to take over as President but as I'm guessing this won't happen I'll stand again this year BUT this is the last time. We'd really like to get someone actually living in Rotorua directly involved. Currently we have people from Whangarei, Auckland, Tauranga, Taupo and Waikato. Obviously Rotorua is a key district so working closer with them would help everybody.
For those worried about travel for meetings, we don't have many. The comittee do most things via email and phone.
So if you have some ideas about what you'd like to see happen or a direction you think the sport should go then come and get involved.
IF YOU DON'T GET INVOLVED THEN KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT!
Remember that 4x4 Challenges is a club and as such the rules reflect the desires and needs of the club members. If you are not a member then how do you expect to have a say about what happens? Only members will be able to vote and if a member can't get there but has a point they want raised, they can email it to me and I'll bring it up on their behalf.
